Pastry maker Danenne Bird’s earliest and fondest memories of food can be traced back to her parent’s family gatherings in her hometown of Southern California. Growing up in her family, gatherings were often grand and always prepared by hand. Eager to participate at a very early age, Danenne began to learn the craft of rolling and decorating cookies, preparing pie fillings, and baking layers of cake that would eventually become birthday surprises. Over the years, Danenne has accumulated several delicious recipes that have proven to be very scrumptious to every person that was fortunate to taste her pastries. Throughout her years as a pastry maker, Danenne has learned how to be creative and have fun making her pastries. As she continued to get creative making more and more treats for fun, several family members and friends encouraged her to start her own business. In 2011 Danenne’s Delights was started, and the demand for her pastries have been nonstop. Danenne still continues to make the recipes of old and is constantly creating new recipes.
